Parking permits are a much needed addition for those living in the borough. I own a home in the city limits and own 1 car. Due to the fact that most other families have at least 2 cars, there is never an opportunity to park in front of my home. I pay school taxes including all the other taxes and fees that go with owning a home. Having a parking spot in front of the home you own I don't think is asking too much.
Parking permits could also potentially add extra revenue to the borough.

“What frightens me are the children with whom I work who show no remorse and seem to have no internal values, other than a belief that they should get to call all the shots, resulting in bullying, disrespect, etc. Often, this is a reflection of poor guidance or lack of values from parents, but not always.” B. September 2015 I'm in the process of creating positive message posters. They fit most 8 1/2 X 11 inch frames. The excerpt came to me from your area. Might it be possible to establish a distribution point in your area. The posters are free to you. It is my hope your citizens will join in.I live by this quote: "What we do here is plant seeds. It is seldom that we are afforded to reap directly the benefit of our work, but we keep the faith. At such time as a story reaches our ears that does in fact afford us the harvest of our seed, it is such a great; inspiring feeling that it can't be bought or sold with dollars; its priceless." Blessings, John

The borough really needs to start requiring permits to park on the street within the borough limits. I'm a home owner that doesn't have off street parking, and it just doesn't seem right that anyone can park on the neighborhood. Perfect example fair week. There is absolutely no parking on my street from people trying to avoid paying for parking..come on borough take care of the people that live in your limits and pay the taxes.
